This project helped me understand what we have learned in class from a different perspective. I took what we learned and was able to showcase those lessons in ways that could not be experienced in a classroom format. The trip the traveler took is meant to be a metaphor for the trip a student takes in ESP 103. In the classroom, we experience many different things that we may not see on a day-to-day basis. It forces you to go outside of your comfort zone and reflect based on what you learned. I am a strong believer that traveling is one of the best things that you can learn from and grow from. It is a perfect example of something that makes you take risks and leave your comfort zone. I think what the traveler learned on this trip is a great alternative to what we have learned in ESP 103. Additionally, doing this project helped solidify what he have learned in the class and apply what I have learned to another aspect of life.
